BENGAL PRESIDENCY, Benares mint 1809 Coinage, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H.1173-1221, A.D.1759-1806), with frozen Regnal Year 37, 1809 half pice, struck at Calcutta for Benares province, (Pr. 307, KM.24). Good very fine and very rare.

Ex. Wodak Collection with his ticket. The Pridmore collection had a coin of this type, it being described in very fine condition and was rated as very rare.
