MARATHA COINAGE, Central India, probably for Gwalior, silver rupees linked by common symbol an axe to right, one of year 34, with additional sword and star close together, (cf.AE of same date and type in Maheshwari & Wiggins MUC No.T51, uncertain Maratha mint), others (2) similar axe and nine dots around central dot, dated 3X, all linked by similarity of obverse or reverse legend. Good fine - extremely fine, unpublished and excessively rare. (3)
