AURANGZEB, (A.H. 1068-1118, A.D.1658-1707), round Gold mohur, (11.04 grams), struck at Surat mint, issued A.H. 1112 (A.D. 1700-1), Regnal year 45, obv. Aurangzeb name and date at top, rev. mint names at bottom, Regnal year centre right, (cf. BMC 707, cf.Nagpur 1070, cf.Panjab Museum Lahore 1487, cf.Indian Museum Calcutta 1152, KM. 315.45). Has been mounted on edge, otherwise very fine, and scarce.
