AKBAR, (A.H. 963-1014, A.D.1556-1605), Gold mohur of native workmanship, (10.74 grams), Agra mint reading?, date reading A.H. 975? (A.D. 1567-8), legends all barbarous, obv. Kalima, rev. Akbar's name, poor date and uncertain mint signature, (cf.KM. SAC 105.1). Nearly full flan on obverse and reverse, otherwise very fine, interesting and rare.

Ex. Glendining's 1960's. Of native workmanship with reasonably good legends, with partial date that can be read.
