WALTHAMSTOW, British Copper Co's pennies, 1812, lion statant gardant/legend (Davis 4,6,7,8) 1813 (Davis 15) halfpennies; laureate bust right/Britannia (Davis 17,18, 21,24) Brutus to left (Davis 30,31,32,33) Mercury to left (Davis 34,37) Lion passant gardant 1813 (Davis 39, 41) 1814 (Davis 42 (2)). A mule of two Britannia reverse dies, edge milled, trident in different positions (attempted piercing). Very good-extremely fine, one penny with mint red, the last unpublished and possibly unique. (20)

First, sixth and sixteenth ex S. V. Hagley Collection, fifth, thirteenth, fourteenth and nineteenth from Seaby in 1973, eleventh from Spink in 1973, others acquired in 1960's.
