SHAFTESBURY, John Boxer's shilling 1811, military bust left/legend (D.15). Toned, virtually uncirculated and very rare.

Purchased from Seaby in 1975. This issue has since Dalton's publication been correctly re-assigned to Kent (see R. Thompson BNJ 1972) but is left here for convenience to avoid breaking the Dalton numbers sequence.
