DERBYSHIRE, Cromford, Arkwright & Co., five shillings, Charles IIII Mexico City Mint eight reales 1795 countermarked Cromford Derbyshire in a circle, in centre 5 with S above it (Davis 23). Coin slightly worn, nearly very fine and hammered when countermarked, the countermark extremely fine, dark toned and rare.

Purchased from Dolphin Coins in 1987.
