ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, undated issue, obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around SACRED DEI SOLIS ELAGAB, Elagabalus standing to right, sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar, holding club upwards in left hand in right field a star, (S.2112, RIC 131, C.246). Flan cracks, as struck, good extremely fine and rare in this condition.

An important issue with his name Elagabalus on the reverse as part of the legend.
