REPUBLIC, C. Licinius L.f. Macer (84 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.7 grams), obv. Diademed bust of Vejovis draped to left, rev. Minerva in quadriga to right, [C]. LICINIVS [L F/ MACER] in exergue, (B.Licinia 16, S.-, Cr.354/1, Syd.732). Off centred on obverse and reverse, otherwise very fine and scarce.
