PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (123-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.15 grams), Rhagae mint, obv. medium bust to left with beard, wearing tiara with anchor instead of star in centre, rev. archer seated right on throne, five line inscription, (cf.S.7372, Sellwood 28 type, Shore 101). Worn obverse die, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
