PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (123-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.3 grams), Ecbatana mint, obv. small bare-headed bust to left with long beard, wearing diadem, sea horse at end of torque, rev. archer seated right on throne, four line inscription, A behind, (Sear 7370, Sellwood 26.4, cf.Shore 80). Even dark grey tone with traces of blue, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
