SYRIA, Seleucis and Piera, Antiochia ad Orontem (Antioch), billon tetradrachms, Gordian III (A.D.238-244), obv. laureate bust to right, draped and cuirassed, partial legend around, rev. eagle standing facing head to left, Trajan Decius (A.D.249-251), obv. laureate bust to right, draped and cuirassed, legend around, rev. eagle standing open wings, to right, (S.3779, 4209, BMC 494-497, 578-599). Weak in places and some porosity, otherwise fine - very fine. (2)
