PAMPHYLIA, Aspendos, (385-380 B.C.), silver stater, (10.92 grams), obv. two naked athletes as wrestlers grasping each other by the hands, rev. slinger advancing to right about to discharge his sling, trisceles before, behind traces of **ESTFEDIIUS, all within square dotted square, three countermarks (two heads back to back, bucranium, two cornucopiae), (S.5390, cf.SNG Von Aulock 2504, BMC 18 [Pl.XX,1]). Obverse die heavily worn, out of round as usual, very fine and scarce.
