AITOLIA, Aitolian League Federal Currency, (c.279-168 B.C.), silver quarter stater, (2.4 grams), obv. head of Aitolia to right wearing kausia, rev. Calydonian boar to right, above bunch of grapes, **AITW* below, (cf.S.2320, BMC -, SNG Cop.-). Cleaned, porous surface, very fine and very rare.
