ITALY, Bruttium, Croton (Kroton), (510-480 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (6.92 grams), obv. Delphic tripod between stork on left to right and legend qPO, rev. incuse Delphic tripod, within incuse circular die, (cf.S.256, SNG Cop.1759, cf.Gale 15, SNG ANS 264). Needs cleaning, nearly fine.
