AURELIAN, (A.D. 270-275), gold aureus, Mediolanum? (Milan) mint, (4.6 grams), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust of Aurelian to right, around IMP C D AVRE LIANVS AVG, rev. around CONC ORD IA MILI, Concord seated to left, holding a standard in each hand, plain exergue, (S.-, RIC 87 var., C.42 var.). Full flan, hardly perceptable minor surface marks, otherwise extremely fine with full yellow gold patina, type rare, the variant unpublished.

The type with a plain reverse is unlisted in RIC.
