GROUP OF FOUR: General Service Medal 1962 - two bars - Borneo; Malay Peninsula; Vietnam Medal; National Medal; Vietnamese Campaign Medal. 15891 J.S.Hyland. First two medals impressed, last two engraved. Court mounted for wear. Nearly very fine-very fine.

Together with: Copy of Operational Report of incident involving 3RAR in the BAU District of Sarawak on 23 March 1965 in which the recipient was wounded by an anti-personnel mine; extract from 'Duty First' describing this incident; and an extract from 'The Team' showing recipient as Platoon Commander of 223 Company, 2nd Battalion of the 2nd Mobile Strike Force Command, Special Forces, Vietnam. Warrant Officer Hyland served with 7RAR from 8 April 1967 to 6 September 1967 and with AATTV from 27 May 1968 to 28 May 1969.
