TRIO: Naval General Service Medal 1915 - two bars - Brunei; Cyprus; Vietnam Medal; Vietnamese Campaign Medal. RM13461 J.F.Romig Mne.R.M. on first medal, 54944 J.F.Romig on second and third medals. First two medals impressed, last medal engraved. Very fine.
Recipient was one of six Royal Marines wounded at Limbang during the Brunei operation. He served with the Royal Marines 13Oct 1953 to 1 May 1963 and with 110 Signal Squadron in Vietnam 1966-67. With research detailing service in the Royal Marines, a personal narrative of his R.M. service and photographs of army life in Nu-Dat, Vietnam.
