GROUP OF FIVE. Military Medal (GVR); 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal; Somme Veteran's Medal. 37 Pte/Lieut F.J. Murn 3 Bn. A.I.F. Last medal unnamed others impressed. Very fine.

MM LG.11 October 1917: 'At Hermies France, on 9th April 1917 Sergeant Murn led his section in the attack. He displayed fine leadership and courage. It was due to his prompt action under heavy machine gun fire that led to the capture of 18 men and a machine gun.' Together with: research; photographs of recipient in Egypt and in military hospital; 9 ct gold sporting Fob; unit shoulder patch with Anzac 'A'; RAS and veteran's badges;'Women of Australia' badge and gold pocket watch.
