BIRMINGHAM, mule halfpennies, 1793, boy standing in front of a drill/Liberty & Commerce 1794 (as used on Talbot Album & Lee cent of New York), a way to prevent knaves getting a trick (D&H 56) well struck up on a thick flan. Nearly uncirculated; good extremely fine both rare. (2)

First from R. Gladdle in 1986, second from P. Deane in 1987.
