DEATH OF MATTHEW BOULTON, 1809, Memorial medal, medal in copper, by Soho mint, not signed, 40mm, (40.5 grams), obv. three lines of inscription, rev. six lines of inscription within closed wreath, (Pollard -, Eimer 1003, BHM 662, Fearon -). Blue-brown patina, good extremely fine.

Ex. Spink & Son, London with ticket. Presented to the mourners at Boulton's funeral and to the workmen of the Soho mint. 530 were struck.
