DEATH OF MATTHEW BOULTON, 1809, bronzed medal in copper, by uncertain artist after P. Rouw, but not signed, 45mm, (36.2 grams), obv. bust of Boulton to right, over model of Soho mint building, rev. legend arranged in 21 lines, (Pollard -, cf.Eimer 1000-3, BHM 659, Fearon 260.3). Red-brown patina obverse, rubbed on high points on the obverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
