BOYDELL'S SHAKESPEARE MEDAL 1803, silver proof-like medal, by C.H. Kuchler, 48mm, (38.6 grams), obv. Shakespeare seated on rock between figures of Drama and Painting, rev. 16 lines of legend, dated 1803, (Pollard 28 [p.297-299], Eimer 950, BHM 553, Fearon 254.3). Minor edge knock, otherwise as struck with proof-like field, good extremely fine, rare.
