HENRY VIII (1509-1547), second coinage, groat, Archbishop Thomas Wolsey issue, York mint, mm. voided cross both sides, issued 1526-1530, TW either side of shield (S.2339, N.1799). Weak bust on hair, otherwise good very fine with attractive blue and gold tone.

Ex. Michael Trenerry, Cornwall, 1989 with ticket.
