TAMWORTH, John Harding's penny, 1799, uniface trial strike in copper of the obverse, a further stage of the previous showing windows and trees added and ground modified (D&H 7). Darker brown with some underlying brilliance, uncirculated and excessively rare.

Ex A.H.F. Baldwin Collection and purchased from F. Schwer in 1987.
