HERTFORDSHIRE RIFLE VOLUNTEERS, c.1880-1901, khaki cloth helmet spike mounted with blackened brass helmet plate and fittings, with scale chin strap. Stamped inside helmet maker Hawkes & Co., London. Some restoration, front lug missing, fine.
