CHINA, Hsin Dynasty, Wang Mang Interregnum, 'Chung pu liu pai', square shoulder and square base spade, (c.A.D. 9 -22), four characters spade money, value 600, length 46mm, (8.0 grams), (Coole 10032 Vol.7 p.195, TFP 476, Pl.54). Some green encrustation, otherwise very fine and very rare.
