CHINA, Hsin Dynasty, Wang Mang Interregnum, 'Tai Chuen Wu Shih', round cash with square hole, (c.A.D. 9 - 22), same four characters on each side, value 40, diameter 23mm, (8.8 grams), (Sch. 135, Coole 9807 Vol.7 p.158, TFP 453, Pl.52). Some green encrustation, otherwise very fine and scarce.
