THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, proof, one pound on cardboard, uniface, Parramatta, unadopted design, not dated (but c.1850), no number, SPECIMEN stamped twice on front, Perkins Bacon & Petch, London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, (cf.MVR fig. 56 p.58). Corners angled cut, glue adhesion in corners and on sides on back, light stains, otherwise good very fine and rare.
