Estimate $750
Bid at live.noble.com.au
SOLD $420

FIJI, George VI, World War II emergency issue, printers proof, one shilling, 1st January 1942, complete sheet of six notes INCLUDING ONE MISPRINTED NOTE in the top right corner. The 'plate' appears to have broken across the top quarter of the note, resulting in part of the legend and frame in the corner of this note being printed out of alignment. The note has been lightly cancelled by two diagonal 'pencil' lines on the right half plus a heavier blue pencil diagonal cross in the form of an 'X'. Very rare as a complete misprinted sheet. Nearly uncirculated.

Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price. All bids are executed on the understanding that the Terms & Conditions of sale have been read and accepted. For information on grading and estimates please refer to the Buying at Auction advice.
