GALERIUS MAXIMIAN, (A.D. 305-311), AE folles, Heraclea mint, issued A.D. 305-306, (8.7 grams), obv. laureate head to right, around IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. GENIO POPV L I ROMANI, in exergue HTS, Genius standing to left naked but for floating chlamys, holding patera and cornucopiae, (cf.S.3720, RIC 24b). Some silvering, good very fine.
