AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius, Pergamun mint, issued from 28-15 B.C., (11.42 grams), obv. bare head of Augustus to right in linear circle, to left traces of AVGVSTVS, rev. C . A across field within a laurel wreath and rostra that being within two dotted circles, (S.-, RIC 502, BMC 721, Sim.1589). Porous surface on the obverse, otherwise fine/very fine and very rare.
