AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius, Pergamun mint, issued from 28-15 B.C., (11.74 grams), obv. bare head of Augustus to right, to left IMP CAISAR, rev. C . A across field within a laurel wreath and rostra that being within two linear circles, (S.-, RIC 499, Ash. 691, Sim.-). Etched on highlights of obverse and reverse, otherwise fine/very fine and very rare.
