AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE as, Rome mint, issued 7 B.C. by M. Maecilius Tullus, (10.96 and 8.36 grams respectively), obv. bare head to right other to left of Augustus around most of CAESAR AVGVST PONT MAX TRIBVNIC POT, rev. most of M MAECILIVS TVLLVS III VIR A A A F F around large SC, (cf.S.510, RIC 435, 436, C.448, 449, CBN 654, 674, BMC 220, 223). Good fine; nearly fine, both scarce. (2)
