SASSANIAN KING, Shapur III, (A.D. 383-388), silver drachm, obv. bust to right with crown, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar, (Sellwood 35, Gobl 125, M.922), another similar Yazdgard I, Darabgird mint, (A.D.399-420), (Sellwood 44, Gobl 147, cf.M.947), another similar Varhran V (A.D. 420-438), Ahwaz mint, (Sellwood 43, Gobl 156, M.952) and bronze of Kushano-Sassanian ruler Kobad (c.5-6th century), (M.1296). The first holed, second needs cleaning, otherwise fine - very fine, first rare, others scarce. (4)
