SASSANIAN KING, Narsch, (293-302), silver drachm, (3.51 grams), obv. bust to right with radiate crown, globe above, without pallisaded headress, three dots to left above head, rev. fire altar with attendants, plain shaft, (cf.Sellwood Plate III, No.26-7, Gobl 74 [no dots], M.862 [no dots]). Surface porosity, extremely fine and very rare.
