PALESTINE, Judaea, Mattathias Antigonus, (40-37 B.C.), copper multiple (four) prutah, (7.2 grams), obv. ivy wreath tied at top with traces of part of inscription, BACI**LE/ W*C **ANTIOG/ ONOU*, rev. single cornucopiae with Paleo-Hebrew script around, (S.6104, H.482 [35], cf.BMC 35-55, AJC V2/V6 [p.158, Pl.55], SNG ANS 190, Meshorer 31). Dark green patina, off centred reverse, nearly fine and rare.
