EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy II, (285-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.2 grams), Sidon mint (Phoenicia), obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, with aegis, **D* behind, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front **SI*, around **BASILEWS [PTO]LEMAIOU*, (cf.S.7772, Sv. 713, SNG Cop. 506-7). Good very fine.
