BACTRIA, Indo-Scythian Coinage, Azes II (c.35 B.C. - A.D. 5), (9.11 grams), billon tetradrachm, Taxila Sirsukh mint, issued 20-1 B.C., obv. mounted and armed king on horseback to r., holding whip and lance, legend around, rev. Pallas standing facing with r. arm raised, with shield and spear, (M.846b, cf.M.2352, BMC 92). Very fine, scarce.
