SYRIA, Kingdom of, Seleukos VI, (95-94 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.17 grams), Antioch mint, obv. diademed head of Seleukos VI to right, rev. Zeus seated to left on throne, holding wreath bearing Nike in hand and other hand holding a spear, **BASILEW[S] SELEUKO[U] to right, **EPIFANO[US] NIKATO[ROS] AN[A], to left, all within laurel wreath, (S.7176, Newell SMA 421 [p.111], cf.BMC 1). Good very fine, very scarce.
