SYRIA, Kingdom of, Demetrius II, second reign, (129-125 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (12.0 grams), Tyre mint year 186 (127-6 B.C.), obv. diademed head of Demetrius to right, rev. eagle standing left, legend around, date, monogram above club etc. also crude cast copy of Athens tetradrachm (cf.S.7105, SNG Cop. 353). Porous flan, fine - nearly very fine. (2)
