ACARNANIA, Leucas (Colony of Corinth), (350-300 B.C.), silver stater, (7.55 grams), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing, flying to right, **L* below, rev. head of Athena in Corinthian helmet to right, with amphora surmounted by bunch of grapes and A both behind helmet, (S.2281, BMC 89). Very dark tone, very fine and scarce.
