THESSALY, Larissa (under Macedonian domination), (c.350-320 B.C.), silver drachm, (6.0 grams), obv. head of Aleuas (legendary leader of Thessaly), three-quarter face in conical helmet to left, rev. eagle standing to left, around **LARISAI[A] ELLA, (S.2126, BMC 53). Cleaned, porous surface, very fine and very rare.
