EPEIROS, Epeirote Republic, (238-168 B.C.), silver drachm (4.41 grams), obv. head of Zeus Dodonaios to right in oak wreath, behind **DERDA, below monogram KE (E reversed), all within dotted border, rev. eagle standing right on thunderbolt, **APEI to left, **RWTAN to right, all within oak wreath, (cf.S.1996, BMC 25). Very fine, a rare signature on the obverse.
