MACEDON, Kingdom of, Phillip III, (323-317 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.1 grams), Lampsacus mint, issued 323-317 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, buckle to left, crescent over A under throne, to right **FILIPPOUU*, (S.6750, Price P15, BMC P15a-c, Muller P79). Porous surfave, very fine, scarce.
