MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III (the Great), (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.05 grams), struck c.318 B.C., Ake mint, obv. head of Herakles right clad in lion skin, rev. Zeus enthroned to left, forepart of horse to left in field, to right **ALEXANDPOU, date weak on left, (cf.S.6713, P.3275, BMC 3275a [same obverse die]). Nearly very fine/good fine.
