MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.0 grams), Tarsus mint, issued 333-327 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin, in dotted border, rev. Zeus seated to left on throne to left with eagle in outstretched hand, below throne A, to right **[ALE]XANDROU, (cf.S.6713, Price 2993, BMC 2993a-e). Scratched in field on the reverse, otherwise good fine.
