SICILY, Syracuse, (c.474-450 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.3 grams), obv. slow quadriga driven to right by male charioteer, Nike flying right crowning driver, rev. **SUPAKOSION around to right, head of Artemis-Arethusa to right, hair bound by beaded diadem, four dolphins around, (cf.S.924, Boehringer 485 [same dies V258/R347], Jameson 1909 [same dies]). Very fine and very scarce.

Boehringer note 6 specimens from these dies, most in private collections.
