SOLD $940

SYDNEY COVE MEDALLION BY WEDGWOOD IN BLUE JASPER CIRCA 1800. Removed from a frame (now lost) with minor repairs otherwise extremely fine and excessively rare. $ From an old American collection of Wedgwood from which we sold an original black Sydney Cove medallion privately in 1988. It is possible this was done for Governor Phillip upon his return to England in 1794.

Estimate / sale price does not include buyer's premium (currently 22% including GST) which is added to hammer price. All bids are executed on the understanding that the Terms & Conditions of sale have been read and accepted. For information on grading and estimates please refer to the Buying at Auction advice.
