BRIMSCOMBE PORT, Thomaes and Severn Canal halfpenny, 1795 (in Roman Numerals), Barge sailing with vertical stripes on sails/entrance to tunnel (D&H 58). Attractive glossy medium brown patina, minor edge clipping in manufacture, nearly uncirculated and extremely rare, one of the finest known of this great rarity.

Purchased from Dolphin Coins in 1997.
